Salt Lake County Courthouse

Salt Lake County Courthouse
Built between 1855 and 1861 by architect Truman Angell Sr., this courthouse served Salt Lake County until the late 1890s, making it the most likely location of George Reynolds’s polygamy trials. The building was demolished in the 1890s, and nothing remains of it today. | Source: “Salt Lake City, Built 1861, Arch- Truman Angell, Sr.” Courtesy of Courthouse History. http://courthousehistory.com/gallery/states/utah/counties/salt-lake.
