George Reynolds’s Sentence

George Reynolds’s Sentence
After the jury found George Reynolds guilty in the second case, Judge Alexander White wrote and signed this sentencing document, sentencing Reynolds to two years of imprisonment and hard labor. The Utah territorial supreme court later overturned the hard labor portion of the sentence on June 14, 1879, but the two-year prison sentence stood. | Source: George Reynolds Sentence, George Reynolds papers.
